I'm in love with an Irish man named Damien Rice. His songs make my heart break, and if he ever sang in my general direction I would probably fall at his knees. Yes, thats how good he is. I've listened to him before, way back when, but for some reason recently I cant stop listening to his B-Sides, especially because today, I'm sad.

I'm sad because I'm realizing that my friends from back home and I are still trying to give each other advice as if we were still in the same school and the same town, when the truth is we can't do that anymore. We don't know the people involved and can't see the entire situation for what it is. We can still be best friends, we just have to alternate the way we give advice and support each other and thats hard and this realization sucks because although we're all happy in our separate cities, not knowing the same people and not understanding whats going on in everyones lives all the time is so different and difficult to adjust to.

I'm sad because I'm bad at relationships. I always find that I'm second guessing myself, whether he likes me or if maybe I'm trying to hard.

I'm sad because I know I'll be home in a week and I can't focus on anything but that.

I'm sad because I'm listening to Damien RIce on repeat, and even though his songs are amazing, they could make anyone sad.

Or maybe its just femotion. Or maybe I'm sad because I have been happy the entire time I've been up here, and its not healthy not to feel sad once in a while. Who knows, but hopefully it'll go away by tomorrow.
